February Half Term
Join our Stone Age School gang during February Half Term for some Stone Age Sessions. Take home what you make!
Come to Kents Cavern over February Half Term to learn prehistoric skills used by our ancestors!
Take part in our Stone Age Sessions, an hour and fifteen minute activity session with our Stone Age School gang. Learn all about gatherers and why foraging for food was an important aspect of the Stone Age diet, make your own leather pouch for your own gathering needs! You could always use your pouch in our activities area afterwards, where you can search for hidden gems.
You'll also get to make and decorate your own prehistoric instruments from bamboo. Choose a rain maker or pan pipes and at the end of the session we’ll enter the cave to see if we can re-create sounds that have not been heard in there for thousands of years. Take home what you make.
