As a Gold Winner in Devon Taste of the West, fresh, local and quality food is important to us. That’s why Firestone Kitchen is popular amongst locals as well as visitors to the caves.
Can I visit the café without visiting the caves?
Yes! The café is open every day (except Christmas day), and you don’t even need to visit the caves to dine at Firestone Kitchen. There are some fabulous circular walks from Kents Cavern around Torquay, and you can be sure of a warm welcome whenever you drop in for coffee and cake, a Devon Cream Tea or a freshly made lunch. No need to book a table!
Is the café accessible?
Firestone Kitchen is accessible, with ramps leading from the car park, to the café and out on the balcony.
Do you cater to dietary requirements?
Our staff are happy to make any dishes catered to your dietary requirements. Please check with the Café Team whilst ordering.
Do you have outdoor seating?
The café has both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors, Firestone Kitchen has a similar feeling to your local coffee house – comfortable, contemporary and colourful. The indoor area is split into three sections: the coffee lounge, dining tables and large communal dining tables. Outdoors, the tables wrap around the building, next to a glass balcony looking down across the beautifully green Ilsham Valley.
