Now that the Stone Age is in the National Curriculum where better to learn about it than in Britain's oldest home.
Come and discover what life in Torquay was like during the Stone Age. What animals were around at the time? Where did the Stone Age people live? How did they get their clothes? Their food? Their tools? The answers can be discovered with a trip into the cavern and a walk around our Stone Age trail, an experience no school should miss out on to cover this new curriculum topic.
Every school that books a Stone Age visit to Kents Cavern will receive access to our Stone Age learning pack. We have developed a cross curricular learning pack to be used before and after your visit to the caves, with enough materials to cover a half term topic.
