On the 24th and 26th of August join experimental archaeologist Jon Dymond at Kents Cavern.

Jon will be showcasing a range of Stone Age crafts that your ancestors would have incorporated into their everyday live using the natural resources that could be found locally including. Skills and crafts being demonstrated include flint knapping which was used to make tools like axes, knives spears and arrows, leather/hide working, which was important for making clothing and shelters, and cordage / fibre and textile work.

Jon’s talks are included in the admissions ticket and he will be on site from 11 – 3pm on both days.
