Classroom resources
Our downloadable learning pack provides children the chance to investigate what Kents Cavern may have been used for from the Stone Age, (which began 2 million years ago and ended 10,000 years ago at the end of the last Ice Age) through to modern day, not just by people but also by the animals that were here long before them.
Stone age learning pack
This learning pack is cross-curricular and has been designed to incorporate a visit to Kents Cavern along with 4 lessons in school. This is a great resource for anyone teaching the Stone Age to Key Stage 2, whether you are able to visit Kents Cavern or not. If you have any trouble with the topic or any questions about the resources, please email caves@kents-cavern.co.uk and our education team will be on hand to help you out, alternatively you can always contact us.
