Firestone Kitchen

Firestone Kitchen overlooks the beautiful Ilsham Valley, and offers a varied menu including pasties, paninis, pizzas and of course, traditional Devon Cream Teas. We also serve a range of refreshing hot and cold drinks.

As a Gold Winner in Devon Taste of the West and Bronze Winner in the 2025-26 Devon Tourism Awards, fresh, local and quality food is important to us. That’s why the Firestone Kitchen is popular amongst locals as well as visitors to the caves.

We are extremely excited to announce the arrival of a new team of chefs, formerly at Occombe Farm Cafe. These new members of the Kents Cavern team are looking forward to bringing their passion to your table, and will be serving up a brand new menu of breakfast, brunch and light lunch options.

Firestone Kitchen will be open daily from 9am with free on-site parking available.

Whether you're looking for a place to meet friends, a remote working spot or a child-friendly place to grab a bite to eat, then Firestone Kitchen is ready to welcome you.

Café FAQs

Yes! The cafe is very dog-friendly. We're based on the South West Coast Path and are perfect to stop in for a refreshment during a dog-walk.

Yes, we offer a range of wine, local beers and ciders

Yes! The café is open every day and you don’t even need to visit the caves. There are some fabulous circular walks from Kents Cavern and you can be sure of a warm welcome when you drop in. No need to book a table!

Kents Cavern Cafe is accessible, with ramps leading from the car park, to the café and out on the balcony.

Our staff are happy to make any dishes catered to your dietary requirements. Please check with the Café Team whilst ordering. 

The café has both indoor and outdoor seating.

No, you don't have to book a table in the cafe.
