Accessibility
We're committed to making sure your day at Kents Cavern is as easy, fun and entertaining as possible. Kents Cavern is the most accessible cave in Britain and visitors of all ages enjoy the caves. Your visit to an underground world lies just behind the cave door.
If you think you may require assistance or have any other needs, please inform the ticket desk staff on arrival. All visitors are able to leave the caves at any time, please inform our team if you wish to leave.
The concert is seated and this is then followed by a short cave tour. Kents Cavern is a relatively easy walk, with mostly flat concrete surfaces and only 9 shallow steps. There is plenty of headroom and best of all no stooping! Sensible footwear should be worn.
There are a few steep gradients of up to 1:4 – 1:5 in the caves, with nine shallow steps and some narrow sections, unfortunately, wheelchairs cannot negotiate past the first chamber of the cave.
If you are in a wheelchair or mobility scooter, please contact us prior to booking your tickets so we can make arrangements for you.
